My son started A-level computer science with Josh at Sandeman tutoring a few months ago. He has a very friendly teaching style and always takes guidance on what my son wants to cover. Some topics are quite complex & Josh is very good at breaking it down and explaining the theory in ways that are much easier to understand. The sessions have greatly improved my sons confidence in the subject and he found his last few tests at school 'easy' which for me as a parent is always great to hear. It's awful when your child is struggling, and mine was, but Josh has given him the support he really needed and I can't even put into words how grateful I am. The mock exams are only a few months away but with Joshs support, I know my son will do well. I would highly recommend Sandeman tutoring to anyone looking for a tutor to support their child!!!

Josh has recently started tutoring my son in maths and english. We weren't sure how effective it would be as it was online but from the first lesson my son has enjoyed every lesson and look forward to the next one! Josh is brilliant at engaging and encouraging to reach the best of his ability. We are very happy with Josh's work. He is approachable and has listened intently to me as a parent which was important to me to explain my expectations. He has been flexible in arranging lessons. What a fantastic find! Phoned up Joshua in desperate need as my daughter is sitting her GCSE’s this year and has lost confidence in her Maths ability. A couple of the topics she’s just not been able to understand and she was dreading her Mocks which are in a few weeks.
Straight away he managed to sort us out with a brilliant Tutor called Chloe. She’s narrowed down what help my daughter needs and Chloe’s methods are amazing! The improvements are almost instantaneous. I really can’t praise Joshua and Chloe enough.

We decided to homeschool my daughter age 11 as we felt the school environment was holding her back.
My daughter has been having one to one Maths with Josh since January and she has developed very quickly and is already doing work that would normally be a year ahead to what she would be learning at senior school! Joshua is an absolutely amazing tutor. He has the ability to connect to the student immediately and make them feel at ease. He is also flexible and tailors lessons to the students requirement. My son liked Computer Science but he missed quite a few lessons at school due to circumstances and was falling behind.Just after few lessons with Joshua, he is so much more confident and really enjoys the lessons.

My daughter had tutoring to help prepare her for school entrance exams and she had two fantastic tutors. Ritchie helped her with English and verbal reasoning, as well as interview preparation. Will helped her with math. Both tutors made her familiar with the formats of the papers she should expect and tailored the sessions to what she needed to practice. The sessions made her feel well prepared and confident for the exams and she received offers from both schools she applied to, with a small scholarship for one of them. I would happily recommend both tutors.
