Entrance Test or 11+ Tutoring?
Many education routes at Key Stage Two can often involve additional exams for students such as Entrance Tests or the 11+. This is where a certain school, such as a grammar or private school will require a pupil to take extra tests and pass them in order to be offered a place.
Competition for Grammar schools and private schools can be fiercely competitive, even at a junior level. This is because on average grammar schools and private schools perform better in terms of overall grades and have extra benefits such as reduced class sizes and more extracurricular activities.
Studying for Entrance Tests and exams such as the 11+ alongside other Key Stage Two curricula can be tricky for students to juggle by themselves.
